It was Congress who shamefully pulled the plug on the funding of defending the South with air power. President Ford's hands were tied. Worse than the media getting it wrong is the education establishment foisting their incorrect ideas of what "really" happened. Educators have no problem finding "History" books that agree with the media's take on it. So now who really won?
