Thanks for your comment. I thought David Mamet's essay was elegant and self-explanatory: the history of how he discovered that the left had changed so radically since his youth. In brief Mamet seems to be another liberal "mugged by reality".

		<description>I can understand your frustration, and won't really comment on your politics, as I'm admittedly not equipped at this time to discuss them with you.

I did want to ask, however, what your post really means. You've mentioned other people's ideas and opinions, and not really expressed one of your own. I'm curious why you titled this article "Why I Am..." when you've only stated why others might be.

Please don't think I'm trying to stir up trouble; I'm honestly curious to know.
