2007 flu vaccine

As of July 2007, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that 132 million doses of the flu vaccine will be available — 20 million more than during the 2006-2007 flu season.

The CDC recommends the vaccine for anyone over age 50. October and November before the flu season is in full swing are the best months to receive the vaccine, but it’s helpful to get one anytime during the winter.
